- Get to know Domani Jackson, Packers sixth-round pick, instant grade
GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers are still adding bodies to the cornerback room. The team selected Alabama's Domani Jackson with the 201st overall pick in the sixth round.
Here's a look at the newest Packer.
ESPN:"Jackson is a bigger press corner with length, strength and speed. He can reroute receivers at the line of scrimmage and win on 50-50 balls downfield. He's not as effective playing off the line and in space, but he can break on the ball and limit production after the catch. He intercepted just two passes over the course of his career, both in 2024, but Jackson shows the ability to track the ball well. He also does a good job of playing through the receiver's hands."

NFL's Lance Zierlein:"Jackson is a smooth athlete with good size and elite track speed. In totality, the play and production have failed to match the traits dating back to his days at USC (2022-23), but his 2024 tape gives evaluators the best look at his ceiling. He can disrupt from press but can be a step slow to transition in-phase from man. Tampa 2 and deep-zone coverages suit him best. Scheme won't matter as much as consistency and confidence for Jackson, though."
Jackson is 6-foot-¾, 194 pounds.
Jackson ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the NFL combine.
Jackson is 22 years old.
Jackson is from San Diego, California.
A highly touted recruit and considered one of the best cornerbacks in the 2022 class coming out of nationally recognized Mater Dei, Jackson played two seasons for USC before entering the transfer portal. He was one of the last players to commit to Alabama coach Nick Saban, but the Hall of Fame coach retired in January 2024 before Jackson arrived on campus. Jackson stuck with the Crimson Tide when Kalen DeBoer was hired and played his final two years of college football in Tuscaloosa.
He recorded two interceptions, 123 total tackles (80 solo) and 12 passes defended over his four years.
