- Get to know the Kentucky football roster: No. 11 Braxton Urquhart
It's still summer outside, but fall sports are starting up, and we're now just 11 days away from the start of the 2026 Kentucky football season. As we count down the days until game one, we're getting to know the players on the roster, and today we're taking a look at No. 11, Braxton Urquhart .
Urquhart is a big 6'3", 200 lb defensive back out of Birmingham, Alabama. As a member of the 2024 recruiting class, he was rated three stars by most recruiting services.

Out of high school, he wasn't heavily recruited by power schools, and enrolled at Butler Community College. There, he recorded 36 tackles and 7 pass break ups in two seasons.
After his time in junior college, Urquhart had a number of scholarship offers, but committed to Kentucky . He joins a deep secondary with the Wildcats, and will have to work his way up, but his size gives him an advantage. He could get some work on special teams, and gain some valuable experience in certain situations. There is plenty of potential there, and if he finds it, he could be a very good player in the future.
