We are counting down the days until the start of the 2026 Kentucky Wildcats football season. We are now 77 days away from game one against Youngstown State, and we're getting to know the roster as we continue to get closer. Today, we look at No. 77 for the Wildcats, Tegra Tshabola .
Tshabola is a 6'6", 329 lb guard out of Ohio. He was an elite recruit, rated four stars by 247Sports and ranked as their No. 36 overall player in the 2022 class. A number of top schools offered him, but he committed to Ohio State .

As a freshman, he played in a handful of games before redshirting, then played in 10 games in 2023. By his sophomore season, Tshabola was a full-time starter, and played in all 16 games on the way to a national championship. He also started every game last season before entering the transfer portal and landing at Kentucky.
The Wildcats are expected to start Tshabola at right guard, and he's one of the perceived anchors of the newest version of the big blue wall. He has loads of big game experience, and his natural talents could make him an All-American caliber player. He will be key to Kentucky's success this season.
