BRENDAN Gallagher's article in last week's TRP regarding the group claim being brought by former players for damages for head injuries raised extremely valid points. He is absolutely correct to point out that claimants' insistence that they were oblivious to the potential dangers of concussion injuries and the effects thereof is nonsense, is possibly the most accurate comment I have read regarding this litigation.Every player knows they risk some form of serious injury every time they lace up their boots.
