Barcelona can make history by becoming the team to win their first nine games of a La Liga season since Real Madrid in 1968-69. The Catalans are setting an incredible pace at the top of the table even if their defensive vulnerability has been exposed more than once.
While many believed Barça would pay for not signing an elite center-forward after the exits of Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Tores, Flick has forged a fluid frontline that gets the best out of Anthony Gordon, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.
Real Betis have found the back of the net 12 times in their last five games. Manuel Pellegrini's side have the attacking quality to hurt the La Liga leaders. Can they, however, keep things tight enough at the back to keep Barca out?
Player to watch:Anthony Gordon, Barcelona - The English winger has scored in each of his last five games for club and country. Gordon is proving his doubters wrong by thriving for Barcelona as their primary source of verticality down the left side. He is expected to start against Betis.
