We're heading toward the back end of a wild week for quarterback news.
The Baltimore Ravens not only are bracing to lose Lamar Jackson (thumb) for the rest of the season but also backup Tyler Huntley (turf toe). Hello, Joe Fagnano (until the Jacoby Brissett trade goes through after Thursday Night Football).
The Seattle Seahawks also announced Sam Darnold (quadriceps) would miss this upcoming weekend and would be replaced by Drew Lock.
Plus, the Arizona Cardinals have ditched Jacoby Brissett for Gardner Minshew, and the Eagles will bench Tanner McKee for Joe Milton.

Start 'Em QB: Week 9 Fantasy football quarterback sleepers and streamers
-
Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers at Bears
-
Drew Lock, Seahawks vs. Cardinals
-
Malik Willis, Dolphins vs. Lions
-
Michael Penix Jr., Falcons vs. Bengals
-
J.J. McCarthy, Giants at Eagles
-
Daniel Jones, Colts vs. Cowboys
I'm a fan of every QB ranked 15-21 this week. In Baker Mayfield's case, there's nowhere to go but up after the Buccaneers didn't complete a pass in Week 8. The Bears' acquisition of Jeffrey Simmons may strengthen their defense even more, but the pass defense still has been friendly to quarterbacks.
Drew Lock proved he could at least manage the offense in almost two full games of Sam Darnold's previous absence, averaging 19.3 fantasy points per game. He'll be an intriguing streamer or superflex against the Cardinals, who've yielded 25.2 fantasy points per game to the position over the past month (top-10 doormat for QBs).
Though Malik Willis may take plenty of sacks from the Lions defense, Detroit remains a solid opponent for quarterbacks. The game script should feature plenty of garbage-time stat padding for the Dolphins' signal caller.
Michael Penix Jr. faltered in rainy conditions that forced Tampa Bay to win without completing a pass Sunday, and it's all but upward from here against a Bengals defense that let Cam Ward have his breakout game. Drake London, Bijan Robinson, and Kyle Pitts should create plenty of matchup problems for MPJ.
J.J. McCarthy starts out of a bye week that probably allowed him to gain more familiarity with the New York Giants' playbook, which should open things up for more downfield action with Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely to carry the offense through its up-and-down run game. "18" gets a Philadelphia Eagles defense that should be forced to stay on the field often with its QB turmoil now moving to Joe Milton.
Daniel Jones has his best shot to regain relevance against a Dallas Cowboys defense that's in shambles. The Indianapolis Colts may wind up trading Jonathan Taylor and Josh Downs but may showcase them heavily this week before Tuesday's NFL trade deadline, which could give Jones some gifts with yards-after-catch production against a fundamentally flawed defense.
