The entire college football world has been waiting for Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin to make a decision on his future.
Ole Miss defeated the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the Egg Bowl on Friday, 38-19, and Saturday was set to be decision day for Kiffin.
Late on Saturday night, a report surfaced that Ole Miss had a team meeting scheduled for Sunday morning, and Pete Nakos of On3 mentioned that Kiffin intended to leave and take the LSU Tigers job .
A big holdup in the departure is Kiffin's insistence on staying at Ole Miss through the Rebels' College Football Playoff run.
Kiffin also met with Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter and chancellorGlenn Boyce for three hours on Saturday.

On Sunday morning, the team meeting was delayed a few hours, and Brett McMurphy of On3 reported another piece of information that will almost certainly damage Kiffin's reputation from his Ole Miss run.
McMurphy wrote that Kiffin is "essentially demanding to finish the season (w/Ole Miss) while simultaneously threatening to poach."
McMurphy added, "It's unfortunately gotten even messier than expected as emotions are high."
After the Egg Bowl, Kiffin admitted he had not made a decision yet and had a "lot of praying to do."
Now, Kiffin going to LSU seems like a done deal, and poaching the staff and roster could make for an ugly ending to his time in Oxford.
Ole Miss is almost guaranteed a CFP spot, but after six years as the Ole Miss head coach, Kiffin's leaving in this manner might not sit well with the fans.
