Newcastle United star Lewis Hall is hardly one to get caught up in contentious incidents, but that changed against Everton.
The left-back is always far too focused on his football to get involved. Emotions were flying high at St James' Park on Monday, 2 November, though.
Newcastle's clash with the Toffees ultimately ended in disappointment, with Thierno Barry scoring for the visitors just four minutes into the second half.
That was compounded when Jacob Ramsey received two yellow cards in quick succession, leading to a red card after clattering Harrison Armstrong.
Replays showed that the midfielder was caught extremely high on the leg by his opponent, and it probably should have been a straight red card.
And this is where Hall inexplicably gets involved.

The 22-year-old could be seen trying to drag Armstrong back to his feet, despite his teammate's tackle potentially causing serious injury.
While Brennan Johnson and Fabian Schar both had their names taken, Hall somehow escaped a yellow card, and it should have been even harsher.
Fans across the Premier League were apoplectic when Gabriel Martinelli attempted to throw Conor Bradley off the pitch.
Liverpool's full-back is still sidelined with that injury, by the way. For all Hall knew, Harrison was seriously injured and he could have made it worse.
This type of thing needs to be stamped out of football. It's up to the referee to decide how to proceed, not the opposition full-back.

Hall wouldn't be the only player missing, with Ramsey now sidelined for one game after receiving his marching orders against the Toffees.
Keith Hackett told Football Insiderthat the midfielder should be forced to serve a three-game ban, though, due to just how bad the challenge was.
It was high, dangerous, and Ramsey was just totally out of control. It was still a sending-off, but two yellow cards doesn't seem to do it justice.
Jaissle will be disappointed by his team's performance on the night, but their disciplinary issues will be even more frustrating.
