In a recent report , Fussball Daten claimed that Liverpool have reignited their interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster Mateus Mane . It has been mentioned that the Reds would have to rival Borussia Dortmund , Eintracht Frankfurt , Manchester United , Arsenal , and Newcastle United in the race to land the Portuguese playmaker this summer.
The 18-year-old managed to shine at times with his performances for Wolves in the final third last season. Mane scored three times and secured a couple of assists in 27 league matches for the West Midlands club in the previous campaign.
The Portuguese attacker is currently one of the best young playmakers in the Premier League . Thus, it is no surprise that the Reds are hoping to get a deal done for him later this year.
His current contract at the Midlands club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Liverpool to sign him on the cheap this off-season.

Mane can find a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in and around the opponent's penalty box and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Portuguese talent usually generates some power with his shot attempts. Mane is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also serve as a box-to-box midfielder or as a striker up top if told to do so. He has already got some experience in the Premier League and won't take much time to adjust to life at the Merseyside club if they manage to sign him later this year.
We can expect Mane to bring more quality to Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola's attack in the long run. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at Anfield next season.
At 18, the future looks quite bright for Mane as long as he continues to improve with each year. He is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future, so the Reds would be wise to step up their efforts to land him in this transfer period.
