- Luka Doncic Calls Out NBA Officials For Biased Decision During Lakers vs. Heat

Luka Doncic dropped yet another 40+ point masterclass tonight in the Lakers' 138-114 win over the Heat. In the second quarter, the Slovenian star was assessed a technical foul for clapping in reaction to an official's call.
The live broadcast caught Luka Doncic's reaction to the technical foul: a candid conversation with the officials.
"I clapped. That's a technical?! Come on now, if it was anybody else, you know it's not a technical," said Doncic, suggesting the superstar treatment works against him instead of getting calls in his favor.

This was Luka Doncic's second technical foul this season, after he paid a $2,000 fine for his first against the Warriors earlier this week. After the game, Doncic spoke to the media and hilariously responded to the media's question about his technical foul with a simple eye-roll, a shrug, and a signal that he only clapped.
Luka Doncic finished with 42 points, 13 assists, and seven rebounds, shooting 14-24 from the field (58.3% FG) and 6-15 from behind the three-point line (40.0% 3P).
Over the last five games, Luka Doncic averaged 43.4 points, 8.6 assists, and 8.4 rebounds while shooting 53.2% from the field and 44.7% from the three-point line.
During the postgame press conference, the Lakers' superstar also addressed his recent form, which has undoubtedly put him in the MVP conversation early in the season.
"Obviously, when we win, it feels way better when it's the more important stuff. But obviously it feels good. If we win by 20 against a team like Miami, obviously it feels good," Luka Doncic said .
"I know some people say it looks easy, but it's not. You have to read a lot of defense," Doncic later added.
Luka Doncic led the Lakers past the Heat with yet another outstanding performance, continuing to make an early impression in the MVP race. His growing dissatisfaction with officiating, particularly after receiving his second technical foul of the season, remains a vital talking point.
The Lakers will be hoping that Doncic can sustain this amazing form while controlling his emotions as the regular season goes on. They now face the Kings on Wednesday, November 4. It will be interesting to see how long Luka Doncic can keep up this streak of averaging over 40 points per game.
