🩻 Madrid got Mbappé's diagnosis wrong, it was the other knee
As journalist Daniel Riolo (RMC) first reported and Miguel Ángel Díaz (COPE) later confirmed, the club made a mistake as serious as it was incomprehensible in diagnosing the French player's injury.
According to both, Real Madrid identified the wrong knee in the initial diagnosis. "Instead of examining Mbappé 's left knee, they examined his right one," Díaz explains.
Riolo maintains that this mistake led to the dismissal of Real Madrid's medical staff last January. "We were told it was because there were many injured players, but I can say it was because the diagnosis of Mbappé's knee was catastrophic, an absolutely massive error."
Kylian Mbappé has said that it was in Paris where he truly began to recover from his injury. "My knee is doing well, and I'm getting back to 100%. I was lucky to find the correct diagnosis when I came to Paris," the player said during a promotional event.

"This mistake in the diagnosis could have been much more serious, because Mbappé took time to find out what was wrong and kept playing," Riolo points out.
