The Miami Marlins have taken a three-game series from the Los Angeles Dodgers .
This is a series many Dodgers fans would argue they shouldn't be losing, especially at this point in the season, but that's the current state of this team.

Fresh off an eight-game winning streak , the Dodgers have dropped two straight and are stuck at 90 wins.
Now 90-59, LA completely wasted a remarkable day for Josue De Paula , who made his first career start in left field.
The 21-year-old's call-up was highly anticipated, and for good reason. De Paula proved exactly why that was the case in this game, though he has nothing to show for it as the Dodgers fell to the Marlins, 6-4.
De Paula hits first career double and home run
De Paula was extremely aggressive early as he swung on a 3-0 count, but he'd draw a five-pitch, two-out walk to get things started in the second inning.

Will Smith doubled to get the ball rolling in the fourth inning, and then Kyle Tucker drew a four-pitch walk. De Paula stepped up to the plate and made the most of his moment, crushing a 416-foot homer to win a six-pitch battle against Eury Perez .
Once the sixth inning came around, De Paula recorded another two-out hit, this one being a double, but he was once again left stranded.
Despite having a 3-0 lead until the eighth inning, the Dodgers bullpen would give up crucial runs once again, resulting in two Marlins runs in the eighth and then four more in the ninth to walk things off.
Tanner Scott falls to 1-6, blows fourth save
LA couldn't have asked for a better start out of Emmet Sheehan , but everything quickly faded once he was pulled after his six innings of work.

Tanner Scott was removed from the game after recording only one out. He allowed three hits and three earned runs on 12 pitches, but the blame also falls on the shoulders of Brock Stewart .
Stewart was Scott's replacement, but it only took him four pitches to give up a two-run shot to pinch hitter Agustin Ramirez .
The Marlins knew exactly what they were doing when they put Ramirez into the game, and it paid off in a big way.
The 25-year-old called game off Stewart in the ninth as he hit his fourth home run of the season.
To make matters even worse, the Dodgers gave up four runs in the ninth inning without recording a single out.
