Given his absence on the injury report , it's safe to assume that Cooper Flagg will be good to go for Sunday's game against Chicago.
However, the Mavericks do have a plethora of injuries to report, with Naji Marshall , Brandon Williams , PJ Washington , Daniel Gafford , and Marvin Bagley III all being listed as doubtful due to various ailments.
The Bulls will also be sitting several key players in this one, including Matas Buzelis , Josh Giddey , Nick Richards , Jalen Smith , Isaac Okoro , and others.
The Mavericks have been angling to lose as many games as possible in recent weeks in the hopes of adding another top pick to the mix after drafting Flagg last year, and they currently have the same record as the Memphis Grizzlies , who shamessly played just six players in their last game against the Utah Jazz in a blatant tanking effort, heading into the season's final game.
However, losing to a shorthanded Chicago team that already wasn't good even when healthy might be quite a challenge.
Flagg has hopped back into the driver's seat for the Rookie of the Year award over his former Duke teammate Kon Knueppel in recent weeks, and he has the chance to make a strong closing argument on Sunday against Chicago, with tipoff being set for 8:30 pm ET from Dallas.
