Cowboys rookie safety Caleb Downs was an All-American at Ohio State. He won the Jim Thorpe Award in the Buckeyes' run to the national championship last season. He was unsurprisingly a first-round draft pick.
But Cardinals tight end Trey McBride doesn't care about Downs' college resume. He made that awfully clear on Sunday.

During the Cardinals' Week 8 overtime upset of the Cowboys, the Fox broadcast picked up some top-tier trash talk from McBride. After a big catch against Downs, he turned to the safety and shouted, "You're a first-round pick? You're a first rounder? For what?"
Take a listen:
Downs didn't even have himself a bad game. But man, that's a tough insult to come back from after getting beat on a play.
Downs would end up leaving the game early with a concussion.
