- MLB Home Run Predictions Today: HR Prop Bets for Wednesday, July 8
It's the "Wednesday Wallop Watch," and three power bats are in prime position to light up the scoreboard. Pete Alonso gets a juicy matchup against Collin Rea, whose sky-high fly-ball rate has led to plenty of home runs. Dillon Dingler draws Jeffrey Springs , the major league leader in home runs allowed, making this an ideal bounce-back opportunity. Meanwhile, Jac Caglianone faces Christian Scott, who has been getting hammered by left-handed hitters and has served up six homers over his last three starts.
If you're looking for Wednesday's best home run props, Alonso, Dingler and Caglianone have the matchup, power and analytics to deliver another round of moonshots.

Best Home Run Props Today
Pete Alonso Home Run Bet (+475)
The Orioles slugger has crushed 19 home runs this season, with 16 coming against right-handed pitching, and he's been getting stronger every month at the plate. Now he faces Collin Rea, who has already allowed 13 home runs this season, including eight on the road, while carrying a sky-high 48.8% fly-ball rate. Add in Alonso's elite 56% hard-hit rate, and this has all the ingredients for another Polar Bear moonshot.

Dillon Dingler Home Run Bet (+500)
Any time Jeffrey Springs takes the mound, home run bettors should pay attention. He has served up an MLB-high 24 homers this season, including 18 to right-handed hitters and 12 in June alone. That's great news for Dillon Dingler, who already has 19 home runs and ranks among the league's elite in hard-hit rate. He's gone quiet since June 25, but this matchup has all the ingredients for Dingler to get back in the home run column.
Jac Caglianone Home Run Bet (+500)
Don't let the quiet start to July fool you—this is a smash spot for Jac Caglianone. The Royals rookie launched nine of his 14 home runs in June and owns an elite hard-hit rate north of 54%. Nine of his 14 homers have come against right-handed pitching, and now he gets Christian Scott, who has served up six home runs over his last three starts, with six of his seven allowed this season coming to lefties.
