Nick Suzuki has played in an offensive role, as well as a defensive role for Team Canada at the Olympics. The Laval Rocket, Montreal's AHL affiliate, refuse to lose. They're currently on a seven game winning streak, including their 4-2 win over the Toronto Marlies on Saturday afternoon. Owen Beck scored his sixth goal of the year, while Joshua Roy recorded his 13th. With 66 points in 49 games, Laval is currently fourth overall in the AHL standings.
Forward Kirby Dach continues to put in time in Brossard during the Olympic break. We all know he has a very long history of injuries, but there's no denying he looked good alongside Suzuki and Caufield before the three-week schedule hiatus.
