- Predators sign Aiden Fink, final draft pick of GM David Poile, to 3-year deal
The Nashville Predators have signed forward Aiden Fink to a three-year, entry-level contract that begins in the 2025-26 season.
Fink, 21, just completed three years of collegiate hockey at Penn State, recording 48 goals and 77 assists in 104 games for the Nittany Lions . He then signed an amateur tryout with the Milwaukee Admirals and has scored three goals and seven assists in six AHL games.

Fink was a seventh-round pick (No. 218 overall) by the Predators in the 2023 NHL Draft. He was most notably the final draft pick made by former general manager David Poile.
A 5-foot-10, 161-pound right wing, Fink is a dynamic play-driver who can make things happen on offense. His size may be an issue at the NHL level, but his vision and puck skills are real assets.
Since his contract takes effect immediately, Fink can be called up to the Predators this season, including in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
PLAYOFFS? Can the Nashville Predators be eliminated today from the NHL playoffs?
Fink is the sixth Predators draft pick from the 2023 class to sign a professional contract, joining Matthew Wood , Tanner Molendyk , Kalan Lind , Joey Willis, and Austin Roest.
