The Boston Celtics made history Sunday night as they moved to a 3-1 lead over the 76ers in the NBA playoffs, and the game did not go unnoticed by an NBA legend.
Magic Johnson posted on X after the game that the team's performance was the best he had seen so far in the postseason.
"I just witnessed the best all around team performance in the NBA Playoffs so far by the Boston Celtics in their victory over the Philadelphia 76ers 128-96!" Johnson wrote . "Their defense was amazing and offensively they made a total of 24 3's! The Celtics big three were fantastic — Tatum had 30 points, Brown had 20 points and Pritchard was the man that had the crowd going crazy with his dynamic 32 points off the bench! Celtics Coach Joe Mazzulla has his team playing their best basketball at the right time!"

Boston's 24 3-pointers broke the franchise record and was just one short of tying the NBA playoff record most 3-pointers made in a game.
Nine different players hit threes, including a team-high from Payton Pritchard , who hit six off the bench.
"I don't know if I saw anything different. It's just more playing with that aggression, playing with that spark," Pritchard said after the game. "I felt it in game three. I was telling some of the coaches I got I thought it was a step in the right direction as far as, like, my aggression and getting my rhythm back."
Jayson Tatum came up just shy of a triple-double, adding 11 assists and seven rebounds to his team-high 30 points. Jaylen Brown , meanwhile, had seven rebounds, a steal, a block and an assist to go with his 20 points.
The Celtics will look to wrap up the series with the 76ers April 28 when they play at TD Garden at 7 p.m.
