NC State picked up another easy home victory on Wednesday night, dispensing with Campbell after a bit of a slow start. State's defensive effort in the first quarter wasn't great and the Camels were making shots, but that stretch of competitive play didn't make it very far in to the second quarter, where the Pack took over.
The score was stuck on 21-16 in State's favor for a few minutes to start the second, but then Campbell starting coughing up the ball and allowing the Pack to get out in transition, which sparked a run. Khamil Pierre was a big part of that as well, as the undersized Camels opted not to double her in the post, giving her plenty of easy scoring opportunities.

Campbell ended up turning the ball over 24 times—NC State had 20(!) steals—and NC State outscored the Camels 47-13 over the middle two quarters to turn this one into a laugher. The Pack shot 15-18 on transition/fast-break opportunities.
Pierre racked up another double-double, finishing with 21 points and 11 boards in 27 minutes. Zoe Brooks had 16 points and five assists, while Annsley Trivette—who gave the team some quality minutes early—finished with 10 points.
State has its first real test of the season on Sunday when it faces Kentucky.
