The Brooklyn Nets had a short-lived tenure with Nick Pringle, who signed with the team and was waived within the same week.
With the Nets' official roster filling up, the front office has begun to make some deals for training camp, signing new players and parting ways with undrafted free agent talents.

Pringle, who bounced around during his five-year college career, drew NBA interest due to his length and defensive versatility.
In his senior season, with Arkansas , Pringle was among the nation's leaders in field goal percentage, making over 71% of his shots.
Pringle was not a primary scorer, but played a big role in helping the Razorbacks capture their first SEC title in 26 seasons.
He displayed his selfless on-court attitude in the conference championship, pulling down six rebounds and sending away two shots without taking a shot.
As he re-enters the free agent market, an NBA team will likely add Pringle to the training camp roster and potentially give him an opportunity in the G-League.

Teams will be drawn to Pringle's ability to rebound at a high rate, while getting good looks at the rim.
For Brooklyn, the team moves forward with significant space on the training camp roster, looking to fill the remaining holes on the roster and two-way deals.
For a team like the Nets, who are still looking for consistent everyday players to build around, finding a hidden gem would help propel this team to the next level.
Roundtable's Demetrius Montero recently highlighted the wing position as the most interesting on the team, with a plethora of similarly-evaluated talents filling in the forward positions.

Former Alabama standout Grant Nelson is the most-recent addition, having signed back with the Nets on a two-way deal earlier in September.
Nelson, like Pringle, went undrafted, but had a productive season in the G-League, shooting over 51% with the Long Island Nets.
Veteran forward Julius Randle and Michael Porter Jr. are the obvious starters, but outside of this tandem, minutes seem to be open for the taking.
Players like Chaney Johnson , Noah Clowney , and Danny Wolf will all be vying for playing time, while hoping to produce off Brooklyn's revamped bench.
Head coach Jordi Fernández will have to decide who fits the best, likely employing a hot-hand strategy early on.
Getting versatile players to fill in off the pine was a priority for the front office this offseason, with multiple small, but significant signings being the strategy in free agency.
