North Carolina A&T head coach Shawn Gibbs said he did not like what he saw when asked about the scuffle, according to the Greensboro News & Record.
"I didn't like it," Gibbs said. "I don't know what really happened, so I don't want to speculate too much, but I know that their players ran on our sideline. You can't do that. That was an ugly ending to our moment, and that's what really made me mad."
The Aggies' 13-10 win over Elon was powered by a fervent rushing attack led by quarterback Kevin White. While White threw for 98 yards, one touchdown and one interception, he had 14 carries for 95 yards, including a 39-yard run. J.T. Smith and Shimique Blizzard also contributed. Smith rushed for 49 yards, and Blizzard for 26.
