The Nerazzurri, meanwhile, announced the departures of four other senior players with expiring contracts on Tuesday (June 30), namely Yann Sommer , Stefan De Vrij , Francesco Acerbi and Matteo Darmian .
Recent reports indicate that Mkhitaryan will earn a base salary of around €2m for the coming season in San Siro. This is a significant reduction from the €3.8m base salary that the former Arsenal and Manchester United midfielder was believed to be earning on his previous contract.
