Official: Real Madrid pair left out of squad to face AEK
Two leading members of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have been omitted from the club's travelling squad to face AEK Athens on Wednesday.
Los Blancos are of course primed to kick their campaign on the continent back into gear tomorrow evening, when they make the trip to Greece to lock horns with AEK Athens in a Champions League clash.

José Mourinho's troops head into the matchup hopeful of keeping alive a stellar recent stretch of form, culminating in six wins on the bounce.
As alluded to above, though, in efforts to make it seven from seven, Real will be forced to make do without the contributions of a pair of engine room stars.
The capital outfit's travelling squad bound for Athens was unveiled on Tuesday, with Arda Güler and Aurélien Tchouaméni notable absentees.
Neither are thought to have suffered injuries, instead simply afforded a rest amid a busy run of fixtures for Real Madrid at present.
