Tottenham Hotspur have some talent on their hands in Oliver Boast.
Hotspur Way is one of the finest training ground facilities in English football.
Spurs boast a Category One academy too, which is the highest tier any youth system can achieve in this country.
Despite that, many Lilywhites fans feel as though the Club doesn't utilise their own young talents enough in the first-team.
It comes with the territory of fan expectation to see Tottenham spending money in the market, which can in turn limit the pathway for youth players.
However, some players force the first-team door open regardless, and Spurs seem to have a young striker on their books who is set to do just that.
What history could Oliver Boast make for Tottenham this month?
There has been considerable outcry from Tottenham fans over the decision to sell Will Lankshear to Middlesbrough in the summer.
Indeed, the former Spurs academy graduate has netted 15 goals in 16 competitive appearances for Boro already this season, scoring 13 from as many Championship games.
Many feel as though the Lilywhites have let a future star slip through their fingers unnecessarily because of this, but their skin may well be saved.
Boast joined Tottenham's academy system in the summer of 2025 from Leeds United, and has been a revelation ever since.
As detailed in an Instagram post from The Talent Hunter, the 17-year-old has already moved to joint-top of the Under-18 Premier League all-time scoring charts.
He's netted 38 goals from 54 games at that level, and will break the all-time record if he scores against Southampton on Saturday 21 November.
So, how many goals has Boast already scored this season, and why is it only a matter of time until Roberto De Zerbi calls his number?
Tottenham have 'Modric-level' star in their academy ranks, this is when he will make first-team breakthrough How many goal contributions does Boast have this season?
The knack for scoring goals is something you can't really teach: either you have it or you don't.
Boast certainly appears to be the former, as the youngster is having quite the season for Tottenham's U-18s.
As per Transfermarkt , Boast has played 12 times in all competitions for Spurs' U-18s in 2026-27, scoring 16 goals.
A whopping 15 of those goals have come from just nine appearances in the U-18 Premier League, whilst he's also registered four assists too.
Twenty goal contributions from 12 games is truly a remarkable return, and one that should have some Spurs first-teamers sweating.
Dominic Solanke has been woeful in front of goal this season with one goal in nine Premier League games, whilst Richarlison continues to be a Spurs outcast under De Zerbi.
It may not be this season, but make no mistake, Boast's time in Tottenham's first-team is coming.
