The Oregon Ducks are going all the way in on Dante Moore's Heisman Trophy campaign.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that a massive billboard of the Oregon quarterback was going up in downtown Tokyo, where Moore and several other Ducks are currently participating in the Oregon-Tokyo Showcase, helping to teach the concepts of American football.
The concept of the billboards is, "Yes, there's Moore!" which goes along with Dante's decision to come back to Eugene for one more season and work to lead the Ducks to a national championship. Now, a video has come out to go along with the campaign, led by QB Ryder Hayes, a player who has become one of the faces of the position room.
"Moore touchdowns, Moore lasers, Moore spirals, Moore wins," Hayes says, impersonating a television salesman. "If you like what you saw last season, yes, there's more."
It may be silly and have little real-world impact, but it shows that the Ducks are doing what they can to promote their QB and boost him in the eyes of the sports world, working to get him to New York for the Heisman ceremony in December.
Of course, the No. 1 factor in that happening will be Moore's play this season. Oregon can put up a dozen billboards and produce 100 social media campaigns, but if Moore doesn't play to his ceiling, then all of it will be for naught.
