The Oregon Ducks are preparing for one of the tougher games on the schedule this season, with the team traveling on the road to face the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Oregon is coming off a massive win over the Northwestern Wildcats, giving the team some confidence for the upcoming game. The Ducks' season hasn't gone to plan yet, but Oregon isn't giving up, with the group looking to salvage the year .

On the year, Oregon holds an overall record of 5-3, with the team going 3-2 so far in Big Ten play. This isn't indicative of a normal season for the Ducks, but injuries and inconsistent play have held this team back.
As for the Buckeyes, they will be coming into the game fresh off a tough loss last week to the USC Trojans. Ohio State is 6-2 on the year, with the Buckeyes going 4-1 in Big Ten games so far.
The Buckeyes lost star quarterback Julian Sayin for the rest of the regular season, meaning that both sides will have backups in the game. Oregon will be starting Dylan Raiola , who replaced Dante Moore, while Ohio State is likely to start Luke Fahey, who replaced Sayin.
This game was expected to be one of the biggest in college football this year, but due to the teams struggling, it has lost some of its flair. But the two teams will still have a lot of talent on the field, making this an intriguing game nonetheless.

Ahead of the game, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day had a lot of praise for the Ducks as a football program. Day showed a clear sign of respect for the Ducks, with the veteran coach understanding that the game will be challenging for the Buckeyes.
Even though the two sides have under performed this season, the contest in Columbus should still have fireworks throughout. Both teams are going to want to make a statement in the game, grabbing a massive Big Ten win in the process.
For the Ducks, if they can go on the road to take down Ohio State, it could be another way for the team to salvage what has been a tough season. Oregon has the talent to make this happen, but they will need to put together a complete game to get the win.
Kickoff for the game between the Ducks and Buckeyes is set for 12:30 p.m. PT/3:30 p.m. ET.
