- Ousmane Diomande was let down by his Nottingham Forest teammates vs Crystal Palace, this is why
Ousmane Diomande will be one Nottingham Forest player who can hold their head high after defeat against Crystal Palace.
The Ivorian centre-back has had to wait to get his chance under Oliver Glasner after joining in the summer.

However, over the last three games, he has emerged as a regular in the manager's notorious back-three.
Starting in each of those games for Nottingham Forest.
Against Crystal Palace, the 22-year-old was part of a defence that conceded three, but the outcome may have differed if those ahead of him performed to standard.
With his fellow Forest teammates produced history in all the ways they would have wanted to avoid.
Why Ousmane Diomande deserves credit despite 3-1 scoreline
Defenders often get the blame when goals are shipped, and that does make a lot of sense.
However, Diomande should not shoulder much of that criticism as his stats from the game at Selhurst Park emerge.

The African defender was quite active both on and off the ball, where he managed to complete five out of five long passes attempted - a 100 per cent success rate as per FotMob .
Additionally, no player completed more passes than the 22-year-old's 55 during the game.
On the defensive side, he made nine recoveries, with only James McAtee producing more for Forest.
He also won more aerial duels than any of his teammates, with four out of seven contested.
So, it certainly shows that the central defender at least deserves some credit for his effort during the game.
Especially seeing as those in front of him were incredibly poor on the other end of the pitch.

Forest were incredibly wasteful against Crystal Palace, with those ahead of the defence letting their team down.
There were plenty of chances for the City Ground side to get the win, and an unwanted historic stat proves it.
As shared by Opta, only one team has missed more big chances in a single game since 2010-11 than Forest on Sunday afternoon.
That team was Blackburn Rovers against Newcastle in February 2012, missing nine in total.
On this occasion, Glasner's side missed eight big chances, with even just one of those going in potentially shifting the game state.
If they had managed to be less wasteful, we may have come out of the game discussing Diomande's top performance.
