1. Packers contain the run

The Bears came into Sunday ranked first in the NFL in rushing attempts and rushing yards, helping drive the NFL's top offense in terms of controlling the football. The Packers didn't let it happen, allowing only 81 rushing yards on 24 attempts, or 3.4 yards per attempt. D'Andre Swift and Roshon Johnson combined for 14 rushes for 59 yards, and the Packers did a commendable job defending the misdirection and jet sweep runs. Despite losing Edgerrin Cooper, the Packers run defense was excellent.

2. Bombs away

Jordan Love has always been a big game hunter in the passing game, but he was at his very best on Sunday, completing six of eight passes thrown over 20 yardsin the air for 258 yards and both of his touchdown passes, per Next Gen Stats. The Packers ended up with four completions gaining over 40 yards.

3. 5-0

The Packers created five takeaways and didn't have a turnover, marking the first time Green Bay won the turnover battle with at least five takeaways and zero turnovers since 2016. Sunday marks just the 16th time the Packers have accomplished the feat, and Green Bay is now 16-0 in such games. Chicago has been the opponent in three of the 16 games.

4. Watson and Golden go off

Christian Watson and Matthew Golden combined to catch 12 passes for 266 yardsand both of Jordan Love's touchdowns. Watson and Golden were on the receiving end of three of Love's four completions of at least 40 yards. When targeting the pair on Sunday, Love had a perfect 158.3 passer rating. Through five games, both Watson and Golden are on pace for 1,000-yard receiving seasons, and Watson's six touchdown catches rank second in the NFL.

5. Backups play like backups

The Bears dropped back to pass 44 times with backup quarterbacks Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum, but the 44 dropbacks resulted in only 165 net yards, or 3.8 yards per dropback. The Packers sacked the pair four times for -30 yards. The Bears created only two pass plays gaining at least 20 yards. On a day when the Packers defense contained the run and built a big lead, forcing the Bears out of their comfort zone, Jonathan Gannon's defense made two backup quarterbacks look like backup quarterbacks. The Packers averaged 10.8 yards per dropback.
