GREEN BAY − One day after the Green Bay Packers released wide receiver Bo Melton and signed him to the practice squad, they elevated him to the active roster for the team's Week 1 contest against the Minnesota Vikings .
A core member of special teams and a depth piece in the wide receiver room, Melton along with linebacker Kristian Welch were elevated from the practice squad to the 48-man roster for game day.

Defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy signed with the Houston Texans on Sept. 11.
Crumedy had a strong preseason in Green Bay – including a pressure and quarterback hit that forced an interception during the preseason finale with the Arizona Cardinals – but due to a deep room of defensive tackles, Crumedy was cut on roster cutdown day and signed to the practice squad.
A 2024 sixth-round draft pick of the Carolina Panthers out of Mississippi State, Crumedy spent most of the 2025 season on the Panthers practice squad before signing a futures contract with the Packers in January.
