- Packers legend Clay Matthews goes full ‘Gigaclay’ in bizarre new look
Clay Matthews is apparently embracing a whole new look. TMZ shared an AI generated image through a paid partnership that shows the Green Bay Packers legend with an enormous chin and a seriously muscular build while shopping for groceries. The bizarre image may be fake, but Matthews seems more than willing to play along with the joke.
"Gigaclay," Matthews posted on X (formerly Twitter).
The new look may be part of Matthews' preparation for his role as an NFL studio analyst on Netflix, but there is only so much a former linebacker needs to change. Whatever the reasoning behind the edited image, it has given fans another reason to look back at what No. 52 accomplished during his NFL career.

Former Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green and former linebacker Clay Matthews hype up the crowd after reading a note from President Donald Trump that read "The Bears still suck" before the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Matthews entered the NFL as the 26th overall pick in the 2009 draft and quickly became one of Green Bay 's defensive standouts. He earned First Team All Pro honors during the Packers' Super Bowl winning 2010 season and made six Pro Bowls over his decade with the franchise. Matthews finished his career with the Los Angeles Rams , recording 91.5 sacks, 519 tackles, 130 tackles for loss, 17 forced fumbles and six interceptions.

Clay Matthews already established himself as a force during his NFL career, but the exaggerated version shown by TMZ takes that image to another level. Now, the former Packers linebacker is moving into a new chapter as he prepares for Thursday's matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne.
