- Packers Lose Running Back To IR One Day Before Bears Matchup – Breaking News
The Green Bay Packers are less than 24 hours away from taking on the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field. The rivalry has seen a shift of momentum over the last year or so as Ben Johnson took over for Head Coach in Chicago. Going into this game, Green Bay will attempt to show their rivals and the rest of the NFL that they are still legit contenders this season.
Unfortunately, they'll have to do so without one of their running backs. Here are the details.

Packers Lose Running Back For At Least Four Weeks
The Green Bay Packers are dealing with another setback in their backfield, as running back Chris Brooks has been placed on injured reserve, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Brooks has been dealing with an ankle injury that kept him out of practice throughout the week. The move to injured reserve means he will be sidelined for at least the next four games, leaving Green Bay with fewer options at running back as the team prepares for its Week 5 matchup against the Chicago Bears.

The Packers have already had to navigate uncertainty in their backfield this season, making Brooks' absence another development worth watching. With Brooks unavailable, Green Bay will need additional contributions from its remaining running backs, including MarShawn Lloyd and Kaleb Johnson.

The team also signed Pierre Strong Jr. to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against Chicago, giving the Packers another option to help fill the void. How Green Bay distributes the workload will be something to watch as it prepares for a crucial NFC North showdown at Lambeau Field.
