Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has fallen significantly in the NFL's annual Top 100 Players rankings ahead of the 2026 season, dropping to No. 74 after being ranked No. 33 last year.
The decline comes as the Packers prepare to open training camp on July 29 following a disappointing finish to the 2025 campaign. Green Bay will look to rebound after a 31-27 wild-card loss to the Chicago Bears in which it squandered a 21-3 halftime lead.
Jacobs remained a productive part of the Packers' offense despite the drop in the player-voted rankings. He rushed for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns on 234 carries across 15 games while averaging 4.4 yards per attempt. He also recorded 55 first downs on the ground and lost two of his three fumbles.

The veteran contributed as a receiver as well, catching 36 passes on 44 targets for 282 yards and one touchdown. He averaged 7.8 yards per reception and picked up eight first downs through the air.
Although Jacobs' overall rushing yardage declined from previous seasons, he remained one of the league's more reliable red-zone backs by reaching the end zone 13 times. His versatility as both a runner and pass catcher also continued to make him a key piece of Green Bay 's offensive attack.
With a new season approaching, Jacobs will have an opportunity to climb back up the rankings by helping lead the Packers back into playoff contention. Green Bay will begin that pursuit when veterans report for training camp later this month .
