GREEN BAY – One month after they initially intended to add him to their roster, the Green Bay Packers have signed tight end Luke Lachey .
The Packers attempted to claim Lachey on waivers May 12 after he was released by the Houston Texans , but he failed a physical. The failed physical only delayed his addition to the roster. A seventh-round draft pick by the Texans in 2025, Lachey is the son of veteran tackle Jim Lachey. He spent all of last season on the Texans' practice squad.
