The Carolina Panthers made some adjustments to their active roster ahead of Saturday's wild-card matchup against the Los Angeles Rams .
As announced on Tuesday morning, the team released wide receiver Hunter Renfrow and safety Demani Richardson .
Renfrow, a former Pro Bowler with the Las Vegas Raiders , made his return to the NFL this season after missing the 2024 campaign due to ulcerative colitis . The Myrtle Beach, S.C. native and Clemson University product, who has been a healthy scratch for the last 11 games, played in six contests for the Panthers here in 2025—recording 15 catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns.
Richardson, also a healthy scratch of late, appeared in just one game. The second-year defensive back made five starts over 14 outings as a rookie in 2024.
Carolina filled one of their fresh vacancies by activating wide receiver David Moore from injured reserve. Moore has been sidelined since Week 4 after injuring his elbow in the team's loss to the New England Patriots .
