Maye had a very rough outing. He would finish his day with 199 passing yards. The Patriots are now 1-2 on the season, after reaching last year's Super Bowl game.
ESPN would release a startling image to sum up Maye's season so far. The Patriots quarterback has seven turnovers, with just one touchdown.
This wasn't supposed to be like this for Maye. Patriots fans have high expectations for the quarterback, especially after last year's run to the Super Bowl game. So far this season though, Maye has not been able to find a comfortable rhythm in the offense.

"There's going to be some uncomfortable questions being asked this week," Sports Illustrated reported following the Jaguars game.
It wasn't just Maye that struggled against the Jaguars. Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence tossed three touchdown passes against New England's defense. The Patriots also committed nine penalties in the game.

This sloppiness was a stark contrast to Week 2, when the Patriots throttled the Pittsburgh Steelers . New England is clearly looking for consistency and answers right now.
Maye and the Patriots will try to pick up a win when they next play the Buffalo Bills on October 4.
