Reese originally signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He played in a total of 20 games, five of which he started, with the Titans from 2023-24, and recorded an interception, two quarterback hits and a tackle for loss in that span. The Titans waived Reese prior to the start of the 2025 season.
The 28-year-old veteran was signed to the Patriots' practice squad midway through last season. He did not play in a game in the 2025 season. Reese signed a futures contract with the Patriots for the 2026 season in the offseason prior to being released.
New England will move forward with a linebacker unit headlined by Christian Elliss , Robert Spillane , Chad Muma and K.J. Britt as training camp continues on.
