The New England Patriots have reportedly signed offensive guard Jack Conley. This was first reported by SI.com's Ethan Hurwitz on Monday morning and confirmed by Patriots Wire's Sophie Weller
Conley has been with the Patriots before, coming to the organization in two separate stints. He first signed with the team in May 2025 as an undrafted free agent. He was waived during the final 53-man roster cuts on August 26, before signing to the practice squad the following day. The offensive lineman was then released again last September.
Conley went on to join the Detroit Lions ' practice squad in November 2025, and he also spent time with the Cleveland Browns .
The Patriots are looking for additional offensive line depth, particularly at guard, after Ben Brown and Andrew Rupcich both suffered injuries in the preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts .
Conley's familiarity and availability played out in his favor for a late preseason reunion with the Patriots.
