Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles are always worth watching closely leading up to an NFL trade deadline. Due to their struggles to begin the season, the team is expected to be a potential seller this year.
No one should be expecting the Eagles to blow up their entire roster. Reports have come out that they have no interest in trading superstar running back Saquon Barkley despite the swirling rumors.
That being said, there are some players on the roster who could be available.
Looking into the future, Philadelphia is facing a lot of unknown. Most notably, the Eagles have no clue what to expect for the future of quarterback Jalen Hurts. He has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2026 season due to blood clot issues.
Keeping that in mind, the team has been linked to potentially making another quarterback move before the trade deadline.

Philadelphia Eagles Linked to Another QB Move by NFL Insider
According to Sports Illustrated NFL insider Albert Breer, teams around the league believe that Philadelphia could be open to dealing quarterback Tanner McKee for the right price.
"The Eagles' six-game losing streak obviously opens up the possibility that they'd move some contract-year vets, and Hollywood Brown, Riq Woolen, Dallas Goedert, Michael Carter II and now Tanner McKee are among those perceived by other teams to be available," Breer wrote .
"Ojomo, also in a contract year, is a different story. In fact, Howie Roseman has given other teams the impression that he'll try to sign Ojomo, who's gotten very strong interest, long term, despite the fact that he's already got DTs Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis on big second deals."
McKee struggled after taking over the starting job from Hurts. This season, he has completed 63.2 percent of his pass attempts for 638 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, while also running for 26 yards in three games played.
Due to the struggles, McKee has been replaced as the starter by Joe Milton. The Eagles signed Milton off of the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad recently. McKee's future is very uncertain after the benching.
If Roseman is offered the right price tag for McKee, it seems very likely that he would consider pulling the trigger. Only time will tell, but fans should add McKee to the list of players who could be moved by Philadelphia over the next few days.
