Ebenezer Akinsanmiro will return to Inter after Pisa 's purchase option collapsed at the final hurdle, with Fabrizio Romano revealing the deal broke down during the exchange of documents despite the €7.5 million option having initially been exercised by the Tuscan club.
The breakdown represents a surprising development given that Pisa had been expected to make the move permanent following the young Nigerian midfielder's loan spell.
Inter are now assessing alternative offers for the midfielder, with Sky Sport in Italy reporting, via TuttoMercatoWeb , that clubs from the Bundesliga have registered concrete interest in his profile.

The collapse of the Pisa deal is an unexpected complication for all parties, though Inter will be confident of finding a suitable destination for a player who has shown considerable promise at youth level.
The Bundesliga interest suggests Akinsanmiro's stock remains high despite the failed transfer, and Inter will look to maximise his value through either a new loan arrangement or a permanent sale to an interested party.
Romano confirmed the specifics of the breakdown, via FCInter1908 : "The Akinsanmiro purchase option collapsed due to a problem between the clubs, the option had been exercised but it fell through at the documents stage. Inter are now evaluating other offers for the midfielder."
