The Tennessee Titans now have to find options for a position while waiting on Nazeeh Johnson to serve his suspension, which will begin in the first week of the season. These three players are the ones that I am watching the closest to win the possible position battle as things heat up.
Jalen McMurray

The first person who comes to my mind is none other than Jalen McMurray. The rookie was signed by the Titans during the UDFA period of the 2026 NFL Draft , and he is expected to be a star for this franchise. He has the chance to play both safety and cornerback for the Titans, which makes him a valuable replacement when looking to move off Nazeeh Johnson. I am watching him closely, but if I had to pick who could replace him, McMurray would be my personal choice.
Mario Goodrich III

The next option is one of the newer additions that the Titans made. The Titans signed the talented prospect following a great season with the Birmingham Stallions. This is going to be the best opportunity for him to play in the NFL and will be the chance that he needed to be able to shine. I believe that he is capable of doing so, but it will all come down to how he can handle the pressure. In my opinion, this is likely the second-best option for the Titans at the position.

Keydrain Calligan is going to be one of the players with the best chance to see the field. In fact, he is going to be the best player with the chance to play now that Johnson is suspended for the first six games of the season. Calligan was in a battle with him to begin with, which makes this an obvious choice, although he wouldn't be my personal choice in the situation.
