Predators vs. Avalanche best bet: Nazem Kadri Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+125)
The Avalanche look to bounce back from a 7-2 road loss against the Columbus Blue Jackets . Despite that stumble, Colorado features the NHL's most potent attack, leading the league with 66 goals scored through 16 games.
The Predators enter this contest following a 4-1 win over Carolina, having previously defeated the Avalanche 6-2 in Nashville on October 25.
With Colorado back on home ice seeking revenge in this Central Division clash, the player prop market offers standout plus-money value on their center Nazem Kadri .
Kadri has served as a central offensive focal point for forward lines, posting 14 points (5 goals, 9 assists) while averaging 18:48 of ice time across 16 contests this season.
A consistent high-volume shooter, he's registered 40 shots on goal on 77 total shot attempts (4.81 attempts per game). He has already found success against this Nashville defensive unit, having generated three shots on goal on four attempts across 16:40 of ice time when the teams met late last month.
Our NHL Prop Projections show Kadri as the main pick for this matchup, as our model forecasts Kadri for 2.76 shots on goal on Thursday.
Compared to current best odds, this gives us a strong 7.6% betting edge.
Getting lucrative plus-money odds on an established top-six center averaging 2.5 shots per game—and who projects to surpass his total against a familiar divisional rival—makes this one of the premier hockey values on the board.
Best Bet: Nazem Kadri Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+125, DraftKings )
