Preview/Lines #17: Pohlkamp To Make NHL Debut, What Will He Add?
LOS ANGELES — Eric Pohlkamp 's parents, Joe and Mary, have never been to Los Angeles.
They're going to see LA and their son in the NHL for the first time on Wednesday night.
"They don't like the big city," Pohlkamp said of the Baxter, MN residents, who are flying into LAX from Minneapolis. "Hopefully, they got their Uber accounts working."

The 2023 fifth-rounder has seven assists in 10 games with the San Jose Barracuda this season.
The 5-foot-11 right-hander will play with left-handed Dmitry Orlov tonight.
"He's a guy that can move pucks. He can skate. Plays with some jump," San Jose Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky said.
Of course, the 22-year-old has always had these elements to his game. What's grown the most in the AHL, to already earn a call-up, just 10 regular season games into his pro career? Pohlkamp suited up for one playoff game last year.
"His defensive responsibility and defending at the pro level," Warsofsky said, "it's coming along."
San Jose Sharks (7-8-1)
Yaroslav Askarov starts.

Ty Dellandrea draws in for Adam Gaudette .
The San Jose Sharks didn't do line rushes at morning skate, so here's my best guess for lines:
Toffoli-Celebrini-Smith
Marchment-Misa-SherwoodStenberg-Bystedt-Graf
Goodrow-Ostapchuk-Dellandrea
Dickinson-Trouba
Nurse-Kesselring
Orlov-Pohlkamp
Askarov
It looks like Pohlkamp will get a look on the power play:

PP2: Orlov-Pohlkamp-Misa-Graf-Sherwood— Max Miller (@Real_Max_Miller) November 4, 2026
Los Angeles Kings (4-7-2)
Darcy Kuemper the first goaltender off this morning, projecting he will get the start tonight against San Jose.
