While Ibrahim Mbaye is likely to leave PSG before the end of the transfer window, as is Bradley Barcola , the reigning two-time European champion remains on the lookout for an opportunity in attack and is notably interested in a young Lyon winger born in Paris and a big PSG fan.
The transfer window will close in a week, on Tuesday, Sept. 1, and the final stretch promises to be lively at PSG, where Bradley Barcola, Ibrahim Mbaye and Renato Sanches are likely to leave.
On the incoming side, L'Equipereports that Luis Enrique, Luis Campos and Nasser Al-Khelaifi remain on the lookout for opportunities in three positions: goalkeeper, a right-sided centre back capable of playing right back, and a winger with an ability to run in behind.
For this winger position, L'Equipeadds that the targeted profile would rather be that of a young player with high potential and mobility (a request from Luis Enrique), who could have been Montpellier's Lacine Megnan-Pave (16), but MHSC has already turned down several Paris offers and appears determined to keep its promising player one more year before making a record sale next summer.
Not to be outdone, PSG reportedly has its eye on another promising young attacking player: Adil Hamdani , born in Paris in January 2009 and a PSG fan. This 17-year-old right winger, capable of playing on both flanks as well as supporting a striker, plays for Lyon, where he is under a youth contract. He is also a France U17 international and has 4 caps.
Given his professional debut last October with Paulo Fonseca, Hamdani already has 7 appearances with Lyon's first team (for one assist in the Europa League) and was offered a first professional contract by the Lyon club several months ago, but he still has not signed it. PSG therefore sees a good opportunity there, according to L'Equipe, which says a transfer fee will have to be paid to recruit him since he is currently under a youth contract at Lyon. The amount has not been leaked yet.
This possible arrival would fill the gap left by Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye, but in principle, Hamdani would be there more to make up for the departure of the latter than the former, whose replacement is already at PSG, though he does not have the same profile: Mika Godts .
