With the World Cup now a few days into the distant past, attention really has fully turned to the PSG summer transfer window, as the club look to win a sixth straight Ligue 1 title, as well an absolutely historical third straight UEFA Champions League title.
So, as of today, Wednesday the 22nd July 2026, here is your update on the reports that have surfaced in the media.
To begin, French journalist Djaameel is reporting that PSG consider youngster Warren Zaire-Emery as untouchable, and "will refuse any offers" for the Frenchman. He is very appreciated at the club, and is "seen as a player capable of challenging the starters".
Last season, the 20-year old played a lot of minutes, both in his nominal midfield role and at right-back filling in for Achraf Hakimi both during AFCON and when the Moroccan was injured. So it definitely feels important for him to remain at the Parc Des Princes next season (and beyond).
Meanwhile, Sacha Tavolieri is reporting that the club are interested in Atalanta forward, Charles De Ketelaere . He says he is "very likely" to leave the Serie A side this summer. PSG's management "appreciate the player's qualities", and whilst he is not seen as a priority target, he is part of the club's list.
Interesting link. The Belgian international had a very good World Cup, but you always have to be careful in this scenario. For example, he scored three goals for Belgium at the World Cup - that is the exact same amount as he scored for Atalanta throughout the whole of the Serie A season in 25/26. A lot of average players have good World Cup campaigns.
That said, he is clearly a talented player with potential, and maybe he could reach that under the guidance of Luis Enrique, so let's see.
Finally, Ben Jacobs reports that PSG and RB Leipzig are continuing talks for Yan Diomande. The Bundesliga outfit "maintain their position" in wanting the winger to stay and extend his contract.
Now, that part is hardly new. PSG want Diomande, Leipzig want him to stay. Most people could tell you that. However, what is interesting, is that Jacobs reports that the player favours the PSG project as he would take on the role of a right-winger, and whilst he is comfortable on both sides, he prefers playing off the right.
Very interesting indeed. Perhaps not related to any potential Bradley Barcola sale after all.
