PSV Eindhoven welcome Club Brugge to the Philips Stadion on Wednesday evening for a crucial UEFA Champions League league-phase encounter, with both sides looking to strengthen their position in the race for the knockout stages.
Peter Bosz's team arrive after an emphatic 7-0 victory over Willem II , while Club Brugge have built considerable momentum under Ivan Leko, winning eight consecutive matches across all competitions. The Belgian side also sit eight places above PSV in the league-phase standings, making this a significant test for the Dutch champions.
Kick-off is scheduled for 21:00 local time in Eindhoven.

Match Preview
PSV will be looking to record consecutive Champions League victories for the first time since January 2025 after securing an important 1-0 win away to Porto on matchday three. Guus Til's decisive goal delivered three points and a much-needed clean sheet, their first in the competition since November 2024.
That victory followed a difficult spell for Bosz's side, who had suffered three defeats in four matches before travelling to Portugal. Their attacking output had also dipped, with PSV scoring no more than once in four of the six matches preceding their weekend demolition of Willem II.
The 7-0 result offered encouragement, although the challenge against Club Brugge will be considerably tougher. PSV are also seeking their first Champions League victory against Belgian opposition, having previously lost to Anderlecht and Union Saint-Gilloise.

Club Brugge, meanwhile, arrive in excellent form. After losing 3-2 to Aston Villa on matchday one, Leko's side responded with consecutive European victories over Inter Milan and Lens. Their remarkable 4-3 triumph at San Siro was particularly impressive, demonstrating their ability to threaten even the strongest opponents.
A subsequent 3-0 win against Lens helped lift Brugge to 11th in the league-phase table. They have also continued their domestic winning run, beating Zulte Waregem 4-2 on Friday.
Leko has made it clear that his players must put their previous European achievements behind them and approach PSV with the same ambition. He wants his young team to take risks and believes they have not yet reached their full potential.
A third consecutive Champions League victory could move Brugge closer to the coveted top eight, while PSV know that three points would provide a significant boost to their own campaign.
