Jaden McDaniels is a very popular member of the Minnesota Timberwolves roster.
The 26-year-old is in his seventh season with the Wolves, and most fans would think that they know the 6ft 9in forward very well.
However, Ayo Dosunmu has claimed that people's perception of McDaniels is not right at all.
Ayo Dosunmu says Jaden McDaniels is 'not quiet' like people think
McDaniels is perceived to be a soft-spoken, quiet guy off the court.
Despite the forward's fiery and intense approach to games, he has always been viewed as a nice guy behind the scenes with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Dosunmu has shared the locker room with McDaniels for the better part of a year now, and he has revealed that the latter isn't as quiet as people think he is.
He wrote on The Players' Tribune : "It's so interesting to me as a pure basketball junkie, because I really get to see this team and these guys from the inside.
"I see the way that the perception is about certain guys, and I'm not saying that people are lying on purpose, but you only see what you see.
"'Jaden's quiet.' Bro, Jaden is quiet. But he's not quiet. He's not what you're thinking. He's a psycho!"
This will come as a big surprise to many fans, because everyone has only ever seen McDaniels as the shy, soft-spoken, quiet guy on the Timberwolves' roster.
However, this is proof that what we see from the outside is not always the truth. People's perception of what players are actually like behind the scenes is often false.
That being said, we would love to be a fly on the wall inside the Minnesota Timberwolves locker room to see what McDaniels is really like.
