As the Sunday games of NFL Week 6 approach, we're taking a look at the injury status of running backs Quinshon Judkins , Jacory Croskey-Merritt and TreVeyon Henderson .
Along with those three, the other running backs covered are Alvin Kamara, Rico Dowdle and Jadarian Price.
Before we get to the latest on them, the notable backs who have been ruled out include Saquon Barkley, Jeremiyah Love, Breece Hall and Kyle Monangai.
Now, here's our roundup of running back injuries for Week 6.

Quinshon Judkins injury update

Quinshon Judkins sustained an ankle injury during the Browns' Week 5 loss to the Jets.
The second-year back sat out the first two days before finishing off the practice week with a limited session, which earned him the questionable tag .
Seeing that he had only one limited practice, we'd put Judkins' chances of playing at around 50/50.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt injury update

Croskey-Merritt got off to a bad start to the practice week, as he wasn't able to take part on either Thursday or Friday.
The running back known as "Bill" will have one more opportunity to get on the practice field on Saturday before the Commanders give him a designation.
For now, it looks like he's heading for a questionable tag at best.
TreVeyon Henderson injury update

After being diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain, the expectation was that Henderson wouldn't practice this week, let alone play.
However, he logged three limited practices and is listed as questionable.
"I feel pretty good. We'll see how things go," Henderson said during the week, according to Evan Lazar of Patriots.com .

It's stunning that Henderson actually has a chance to play with what is normally a multi-week injury. We tend to lean toward him not playing, but we'll be on the lookout for a firm answer ahead of kickoff on Sunday.
Alvin Kamara injury update

Kamara is still dealing with the back issue he picked up in Week 4.
He turned in three limited practices with the Saints this week before being given the questionable tag.
That amount of participation was actually an upgrade from last week, when he logged only two limited practices before being listed as questionable and ultimately suiting up.

We predict Kamara will be active.
Rico Dowdle injury update

Dowdle has not taken the field for the Steelers since Week 2 because of a toe injury.
The veteran rusher saw an upgrade in participation this week after he logged two full practices, but he's still uncertain to play due to a questionable tag .
Since Dowdle did turn in those two full practices, we believe he's going to play, but there may not be a lot of work for him given how great Jaylen Warren has looked lately.
Jadarian Price injury update

Price is still on injured reserve with his chest injury, but the Seahawks running back received an encouraging update on Friday.
Head coach Mike Macdonald told Seattle Sports 710 AM that Price may be back "sooner rather than later," so it appears a Week 8 return when he is first eligible is on the table.
Price will be rejoining a crowded backfield, as fellow rusher Zach Charbonnet is expected back and Emanuel Wilson should continue seeing touches.
