We've apparently reached the point in free agency where we look to bulk up the special teams unit. The Raiders opened Monday with the addition of former Colts LB Segun OIubi who led the team in special teams tackles last season (11) while adding a forced fumble as well.
In fact, Olubi has finished among the team leaders in special teams tackles each of the past three seasons. He was second on the team in 2024 (nine) and in 2023 (nine).
The former undrafted free agent out of San Diego State joins the like of Tommy Eichenberg who was third in the NFL last season with 23 special teams tackles.
Over his career in Indianapolis , Olubi has appeared in 51 games with two starts, recording 50 combined tackles (20 on defense) with two forced fumbles and a pass breakup.
