The 6-4, 274-pound edge rusher put up some big numbers for the Huskies in his final two seasons there. He had 16.0 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss over his sophomore and junior campaigns at Washington.
Players who suffer major injuries as he did can be labeled injury prone and be sent to the waste bin. Those injuries can also take time to come back from. And not just the rehabilitation for the injury itself, but the conditioning and the psychological effects of it. Gaining his confidence back. It is definitely worth a shot to see if he can recapture his pass rushing prowess.
