The Las Vegas Raiders started off the 2026 NFL season with a 3-0 record. Klint Kubiak and company looked the part of a major surprise in the making.
Over the last two weeks, that hype has started to cool off. While the loss against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4 wasn't a big deal, the Raiders were dominated this week by the New England Patriots. When all was said and done, they lost the game by a final score of 45-17.
Despite the two straight losses, Las Vegas is still a team to watch in the AFC. Kirk Cousins and the rest of the team need to get back on track, but the talent is there for them to do just that.
On Monday, the Raiders made a move to sign a new wide receiver before their Week 6 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

Las Vegas Raiders Sign New Wide Receiver Before Week 6 Against Buffalo
According to a report from NFL insider Mike Garafolo, Las Vegas has agreed to sign former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jamari Thrash.
"The Raiders are signing WR Jamari Thrash to the practice squad," Garafolo wrote . "Waived off IR by the Browns last month, the 2024 fifth-round pick is healthy and back with a new team."
Thrash was originally drafted by the Browns with the No. 156 overall pick in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He has played sparingly at the professional level so far.
In 18 career games played, the wideout has caught 13 passes for 129 yards. He has yet to find the end zone.
Whether or not this move will result in Thrash playing in a regular season game or not remains to be seen. He has been signed to the practice squad and will be eligible to be elevated by the Raiders. At the very least, he's quality depth for Kubiak to utilize if the wide receiver position needs help.
Las Vegas is scheduled to kick off against the Bills on Sunday afternoon at 4:25 p.m. ET.
